Authentic material
We attach great importance to the use of authentic materials, from the wood of the saddle, the grinding up to the linen or leather covering.
For the rider
Saddle adapted to the rider. We attach great importance to the usability of the saddle, even in everyday use (perhaps not directly for jumping).
For the horse
Of course, the saddle must first and foremost fit the horse. Here we put a lot of value on it. That is why the saddle tree is adapted to the horse even during several appointments.

SADDLE
High medieval tournament and war saddle
This saddle was manufactured on customer request. It corresponds to the forms of a war saddle of the 13th century.
The saddle tree, including saddle seat are made of solid linden wood. The seat shape is adapted to the needs of the rider. The complete saddle tree was made by hand and covered with a layer of linen. The saddle seat incl. Saddle leaves consist of 6 layers of coarse linen and a layer of cover fabric, also made of linen. The saddle pads are sewn of linen and stuffed with sheep's wool.
For the further completion its owner has coated the galleries with chalk base and painted with tempera paints in the motives of the 13th century. The conclusion is a multilayered layer of linseed oil. With a final check before the final finish, a fine tuning was performed again. Especially fit on the horse, comfort and Hilfengebung are last checked.
